Nicholas Walters WBA Featherweight Champion

Nicholas Walters was born on January 04, 1986 in Montego Bay Jamaica and is the son of retired boxer Job Walters. Nicholas attended the Roehampton Primary and Anchovy High School and began boxing at the age of four.

Walters had his first professional fight at the age of 22 against Estaban Ramos of Panama and is nicknamed “The Axeman.” He became the WBA Featherweight Champion by knocking out Colombian Daulis Prescott in the seventh round of the title fight in Jamaica for the vacant "Regular" Featherweight title on December 8, 2012. 

Walters predicts a KO in either the 5th or 6th round in his title fight with Nonito Donaire scheduled for October 18, 2014 during in an interview on Fightnews.com.
